@Fatima for the 1st time, it's usually quite painful. But as you do it more often, your threshold of pain gets bigger and besides, the regrowth is likely thinner which means it takes less effort (and pain) to do the subsequent waxing. That said, as the pubic area is the more sensitive zones, you may wanna weight your pros and cons more carefully then when considering the same for other regions.

I once tried waxing and it was WAY TOO PAINFUL! , i pulled of the first strip and i couldnt continue.. many people get an allergy, i dont usually but this time i did.
Maybe because those areas are really sensitive.. anyway im glad thats over, i've been taking some electrolysis sessions and it has really good results, also it is painless. Although it might zap alittle the results are longlasting and worth it.
I agree with Katerine ^ even though i don't know her lol.. but waxing is too painful and shaving is like asking for sharp skin.

I had mine removed by electrolosis about 6 years ago. It was sort of painfull. The pain slowly increasing with each hair removed, but its not to bad. I had 2 main sessions which left me a bit red and sore for a few days. After that I went back a few times to get persistant hairs zapped again. It was expensive but the baby smooth end result is well worth it. Shaving looks like a plucked chicken especially when it starts to grow and is all stubbley. Waxing is just too painfull for pubes. Electrolosis is just excelent and permint. Regards Katie.
